My name is Christine Georgiana Cadogan

I am a fashion designer from Trinidad and Tobago. The land of steelpan, Calypso and Soca music.

I started my journey as an artist, which has given me a strong sense of color palettes and the art of mixing and matching colors. I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of colors, and I've come to appreciate the infinite possibilities they offer. In the fashion world, this is a unique skill that sets me apart from others.

In fashion design, I've experimented with elements like lines, darts, and tucks to create fresh styles. While it's true that fashion tends to go through cycles, where nothing is entirely new, it's the combinations of fabrics, design details, and accessories that create freshness in fashion.

A fundamental aspect of good fashion is the fit. Achieving the perfect fit takes time and patience, and I've personally spent countless hours creating patterns. There's something quite satisfying about starting with a blank sheet of paper and plotting out measurements, almost like being an architect of clothing.

My passion for fashion has taken me to some of the world's fashion capitals, including Milan, Paris, London, and New York. I've immersed myself in high fashion, explored boutique offerings, and built my personal collection. I've also learned a lot about garment construction by taking apart and reassembling clothing.

I began my formal education at Miami International University of Art and Design, where I pursued an Associate Degree in fashion. Even after completing my formal education, I continued to deepen my knowledge of garment construction. I've had the privilege of working with companies in Trinidad and Tobago, which provided valuable training in catering to a diverse range of body types.

Since 2005, I've been actively involved in designing and constructing garments. Over the years, I've built a loyal clientele, including prominent individuals who appreciate the unique touch I bring to my creations.
